01 · The problem
A heavy site they didn't own.
People choosing a tax firm judge it in seconds. The old site lived inside a site builder the firm didn't control, and the first visit weighed more than 33 MB.
02 · How we defined it
The look was right. The site under it wasn't.
Clients already trusted how the firm looked, so the look stayed. The job was underneath: code the firm owns outright, and pages that open fast.
03 · How we solved it
Rebuilt, page for page.
Home, booking, three service pages and the policies, rebuilt as code the firm owns. The hero video streams from a fast network with a still frame while it loads, and every photo is sized for the screen it lands on.
- The old site: 33.1 MB on a first visit, locked inside a site builder.
- Rebuilt: Path one: every page rebuilt as code the firm owns.
- Served fast: Path two: video and photos from a fast network, sized per screen.
- Live: Both meet: the same look at 4.0 MB.
04 · Our vision
A base that is cheap to grow.
A new service page or a seasonal tax guide is now a small change on code the firm owns. No rebuild, and no site builder to answer to.
